Harvesting Update Mark Gardner Koi

Been busy few days here on the farm with lots of koi being harvested and sorted. This video is of some 12 week old kujaku bred from the Mark Gardner line. A sample net was done and a total of 1,400 gone through these were split into C grades 800, Standard grades 500, and 111 keepers of which 11 were deemed worthy of going to the "special pond". We have now been through a good number of the koi from the 3 parent sets of Marks and although we will not make the target of a 1,000 keepers from each set which was a tall order! We will be close and some very good looking young koi are coming through from these spawnings so very happy that we can continue his work.
